About the Artist

Every piece I create begins with respect.

I am a member of the Red Lake Nation of Chippewa Indians and a descendant of the Santee Sioux Tribe of Nebraska. My work is deeply rooted in the teachings of honoring the gifts that the Creator provides and treating every part of an animal with gratitude and purpose.

While I am best known for crafting earrings from natural deer and elk antlers, my work also includes buffalo horn, elk ivories, animal claws, silversmithing, traditional beadwork, and hand-sewn pieces. I enjoy exploring different materials and techniques, allowing each one to guide the design while preserving its natural character.

One of the values that is most important to me is ensuring that nothing goes to waste. Every antler, horn, elk ivory, or other natural material carries a story, and I believe it deserves to be used with care and intention. Through my work, I strive to honor the life of the animal by creating pieces that can be appreciated and worn for generations.

I also believe that the energy we carry becomes part of what we create. For that reason, I only work when I have a clear mind and a positive spirit. I want every piece that leaves my hands to reflect patience, gratitude, and good intentions. My hope is that those qualities are felt by the people who wear my work.

Thank you for supporting Native-made art and for allowing me to share a part of my culture, creativity, and values through every piece I create.
